This 1947 Cessna 140 had a broken rib in the horizontal stabilizer, as well as, internal corrosion on the skins of the horizontal. It is made of polished aluminum. We obtained this plane mid-November and had it ready by the first week of December.
King Air BY107
This 2010 King Air B200GT is currently undergoing repairs needed due to a hard landing. We hauled this aircraft from Canada in June of 2013, and our team of experts, highly skilled in King Air repair, plans to deliver the aircraft "good as new" by early 2014.
This Citabria was long overdue for restorations. We discovered that several wooden ribs were damaged, which was unexpected. The new ribs were handcrafted and installed in accordance with FAA standards. The aircraft was completely recovered and restored to better than original condition.
2005 Cessna 206
This 2005 Cessna 206 experienced extensive damage after an engine failure on take off. The fuselage, which was also twisted at the cargo door, right hand main gear and nose gear, right hand horizontal stabilizer, elevator tip, wing and aileron, left hand strut, the engine exhaust, and the right hand top engine cowl were all damaged during the accident. Today, this aircraft is up and flying as good as new.
North American T6-G
This old warbird veered off the runway and crashed into the treeline during an event in 2003, Tribute to Aces Symposium & Fly-in. Hampton Aviation purchased this airplane as a restoration project and finished repairs in early 2006. Once our team completed repairs, the original owners actually purchased the aircraft.
This Baron belongs to the country/western singer, Mickey Gilley, who experienced a gear failure in 2004. The landing caused damage to the right and left hand flap, the left hand engine exhaust stacks, antennas, gear door, and the belly of the fuselage. We replaced the props and performed prop strike inspections. Mr. Gilley was able to pick-up his repaired Baron after only a few weeks.
Our first time working on this Cessna 195 Sun-N-Fun Grand Champion was a restoration project. Shortly thereafter, the aircraft was damaged in a ground loop. Our skilled team of technicians was able to repair the aircraft, returning it to show quality condition.
We have repaired a lot of Bonanzas over the years, and this is a fine example of an A36 that was damaged in Florida. Along with the extensive repairs, this plane got a beautiful new paint job.
